itself at a rate of about one quart per hour, depending on your tap
water pressure and the water temperature. Low water pressure and temperature
will cause all R.O. systems to produce less pure water. The system is
designed to clean itself automatically and flush the impurities down
the drain. This appliance operates at a peak efficiency when it gets
